With a Bachelor of Arts in English and Forensic Psychology from John Jay College, Daisy is a current student in the M.S. Program in Cognitive Neuroscience at The Graduate Center, CUNY. She is currently the M.S. Program in Cognitive Neuroscience and the CUNY Neuroscience Collaborative (CNC)’s College Assistant, and, this spring, she will join the NYU BrainWaves program as a neuroscience mentor. Daisy’s research interests include video games’ cognitive effects (e.g., attention, decision-making) and the neural correlates of performance and expertise in electronic sports (esports); she aims to apply her research to education. In fact, she is currently working on her thesis, “The Cognitive, Behavioral, Affective, and Physiological Components of Social Cognition,” under the supervision of her mentor, Dr. Robert O. Duncan, from York College, CUNY. Daisy's favorite games are Overwatch, League of Legends, and Pokémon.
