COMING SOON: WAFFLE GAMES 5.0

Updated: Apr 26, 2022

This week we've announced the official dates of Waffle Games 5.0!! Hop online for a virtual convention like no other from April 29th to April 30th. We hope to push the limits of what community collaboration can achieve, as we have every year. So expect panels, tournaments, and an absolute smash hit of an event!

Come by and explore careers! See what could be in store for you. Start a chat with Kate Smith, Technical Designer at WB Games. We’ve also got talks with Community Managers, Production Coordinators, Researchers and more!

If you want something a bit more technical, we also have spaces to explore different skill sets that will be irreplaceable to you in the world of games. Do you want to have a better look at sound and voice for games? We've got Robbie Dolan, a sound designer and composer, to walk you through the process.

The list goes on from community panels exploring subcultures and gaming history to amazing talks, providing a glimpse at what the future of games might look like.

If at the end of the day, you're just looking to play some games with our wonderful community, don't worry!

As usual, we will have Valorant, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and League of Legends tournaments. There will be something for everyone.

If you haven't already, grab your tickets here!

If you're an exhibitor, speaker, or a panelist and would like to host a booth at Waffle Games 5.0, shoot us a direct message via Twitter.

If you want to expand your experience in the games industry, but aren’t sure what you can offer just yet, you can apply to help out with our volunteer form.

There are still lots of updates to look forward to, so keep an eye on our Twitter, Discord, and website as the date draws closer! You may be in for some special surprises in the coming weeks.
