PlayStation displays a focus on employee success, health, and wellbeing. The company offers pretty extensive health and family benefits for full-time employees. Many reviews from current and former employees mentioned that the company helped them to grow their skills. With that being said, reviews also suggested that Playstation is a great company to start at, and that it may be best to explore other options once you gain experience. Common complaints were the obvious long hours around crunch. Otherwise, an unorganized executive leadership was among the most common complaint.
ROLE OVERVIEW
An AI Intern would:
Assist in research and development of speech and audio processing, such as Text-to-Speech and Emotion detection.
Develop/apply machine learning and deep learning algorithms to build naturalistic Text-to-Speech Synthesis systems.
PlayStation is interested in experienced students with at least a Masters Degree. The internship will be a highly collaborative environment, and will depend on your ability to communicate effectively. A strong work ethic and personal interest in the research will be important if you wish to take the position.
